It is with great pride and optimism that I address you as the National Chairperson of our esteemed Trade Union, Uganda Professional Science Teachers’ Union (UPSTU). Our union stands as a testament to the collective power of individuals united by a common purpose or cause that centers on advocating for our members’ rights, welfare, improvement of working conditions and the advancement of our industry.
We want to ensure that in every corner of our nation, our members are playing a very pivotal role in shaping our economy and society. As we stand together, we are not only championing the interests of workers or employees but also contributing towards the well-being of their families, communities, and the entire nation at large.
Our union has now become a beacon of hope, a platform for change, and a force for progress. It is a place where voices are amplified, where concerns find a listening ear, and where action is taken to secure a brighter future for all. As we navigate the challenges and opportunities that come our way, let us remember the strength that lies in our unity. It is our shared determination, our collective dedication, and our unwavering commitment that fuel the engine of change.
