💡 About the Competition

The competition provides a national platform for secondary school students to showcase innovative science projects aligned with real-world challenges and national development goals. Through regional and national events, learners demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity across fields such as Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, and Mathematics.

Under the 2026 theme Scientific Innovations for Inclusive and Sustainable Development,” this program also celebrates the dedicated efforts of Uganda’s science educators and contributes meaningfully to the development of a scientifically innovative society.

This transformative initiative empowers secondary school students across Uganda to showcase science-based solutions to real-world challenges in STEM fields. In line with the competence-based curriculum, this competition nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. It has been an extraordinary success so far, with exhibitions held in Central, Eastern, Western, and Northern regions bringing together the brightest young innovators from across Uganda.
